Overview

Grand Ballroom
The 8,940 square foot newly refreshed Grand Ballroom features 16 foot high ceilings and is the largest event room in the hotel. It can accommodate 800 for a formal banquet, 620 for a schoolroom set or up to 1,000 for a theater setting or cocktail reception. In addition, a spacious pre-function area can be used for pre-event cocktails, conference registration, or other functions. Air walls can be used to break up the ballroom into as many as 7 individual areas named Sections A through G.  The breakdowns for the individual sections are as follows:

Grand Ballroom Section A and Section C each:
Each 1,008 square foot section seats up to 70 banquet-style, up to 100 reception-style, up to 110 theatre-style, up to 60 schoolroom-style, up to 34 conference-style, and up to 36 U-shape-style.

Grand Ballroom Section B:
This 966 square foot section seats up to 70 banquet-style, up to 95 reception-style, up to 100 theatre-style, up to 60 schoolroom-style, up to 34 conference-style, and up to 36 U-shape-style.

Grand Ballroom Section D (central section):
This 3,050 square foot section seats up to 250 banquet-style, up to 315 reception-style, up to 350 theatre-style, up to 195 schoolroom-style, up to 90 conference-style, and up to 90 U-shape-style.

Grand Ballroom Section E and Section G each:
Each 984 square foot section seats up to 70 banquet-style, up to 100 reception-style, up to 110 theatre-style, up to 60 schoolroom-style, up to 34 conference-style, and up to 36 U-shape-style.

Grand Ballroom Section F:
This 943 square foot section seats up to 70 banquet-style, up to 95 reception-style, up to 105 theatre-style, up to 60 schoolroom-style, up to 34 conference-style, and up to 36 U-shape-style.
Regency Ballroom
A more intimate space, The Hyatt Regency Rochester's Regency Ballroom measure 2,343 square feet and can accommodate 180 for a formal banquet, 300 for a cocktail reception, 255 theater-style, 160 schoolroom-style, or 50 conference- or U-shape-style. In addition, a spacious pre-function area can be used for pre-event cocktails, conference registration, or other functions. Air walls can be used to break up the ballroom into as many as 3 individual areas, called Sections A through C.  The breakdowns for the individual sections are as follows:

Regency Ballroom Section A and Section C each:
Each 792 square foot section seats up to 60 banquet-style, up to 100 reception-style, up to 80 theatre-style, up to 50 schoolroom-style, up to 28 conference-style, and up to 27 U-shape-style.

Regency Ballroom Section B:
This 759 square foot section seats up to 60 banquet-style, up to 100 reception-style, up to 80 theatre-style, up to 50 schoolroom-style, up to 28 conference-style, and up to 27 U-shape-style.
Wilmorite Room
Adjacent to the second floor guest elevators, the 975 square foot Wilmorite Room can accommodate 60 for a formal banquet, up to 90 reception-style, 75 theatre-style, 45 schoolroom-style, 28 conference-style, or 25 U-shape-style. Air walls can be used to divide the Wilmorite Room in two sections.
Loftus C. Carson Room
A corner room with windows looking out on the city, the Carson room can accommodate 60 for a formal banquet, 90 for a cocktail reception, 80 theatre-style, 45 schoolroom-style, 25 conference-style, or 24 U-shape-style. Air walls can divide the room into two sections.
George Eastman Boardroom
One of two elegant, pre-set boardrooms, the Eastman Boardroom measures 26 by 14 ft (364 square ft) with a ceiling height of 10 ft.  The room is equipped with a beautiful oak conference table and can seat up to 14 people in upholstered high back ergonomic conference chairs.
Joseph C. Wilson Boardroom
Equal in size, the 364 square foot Wilson Boardroom is  also equipped with a beautiful oak conference table and can seat up to 14 people in upholstered high back ergonomic conference chairs.
VIP Suites
Each of these luxurious suites provides an elegant, intimate setting for small meetings. A full bar and catering services can be arranged through by our experienced staff.

The hotel's VIP conference suites are distributed in the fourth and fifth floors of the hotel.  All include a conference table with seating for 6*, a full-size Murphy bed and a refrigerator; many also come equipped with a stereo.  VIP Suites may include either one or two bedrooms adjoining the VIP Parlor.

Executive Suites
All Executive suites include a conference table with seating for 8*, full-size Murphy bed, a stereo, and refrigerator.  Executive Suites include either one or two bedrooms adjoining the Executive Parlor.

Vice Presidential Suite
The Presidential Suite is located on the top floor of the hotel and features conference table with seating for 8*, a kitchenette, study, king bed, two balconies, a grand piano, and a Jacuzzi.  An additional bedroom equipped with two double beds adjoins the suite.

Presidential Suite
Located on the twenty-third floor of the hotel, the 1,650 square foot suite includes a conference table with seating for 10*, kitchenette, service bar, fax machine, balcony, and stereo.  An additional King bedroom adjoins the suite.
